Dental-Medical Thermography

Victoria DaCosta, RDH, will be sharing her thermography knowledge and how it’s all related to oral-systemic health.

“In teaching Dental-Medical Thermography students will learn about the infrared camera technology and the way to collect the data to tie in oral-systemic links software to generate DMT in patient reports for doctor review.”
Thermography is done with a special camera that registers heat (I.E. inflammation!) Seeing how infections in the mouth spread to the rest of the body is eye-opening. It’s all there is greens and blues and reds. Please join us and learn about this important tool.
