PDF FUNCTIONALITY
Each PDF document that is part of the course allows you to read it based upon your personal preferences. All PDF controls will be found on the PDF viewer toolbar, located at the top of the PDF document. To view the document in full screen mode, click on the full screen icon . To exit full screen mode, press the escape button (ESC) on your keyboard. To print the PDF, click the printer icon and if you want to download the PDF, click the download icon . Page navigation icons, previous and next  are also located on the center of the toolbar. If viewing on a mobile device, you will need to turn your device sideways (landscape mode) in order to view all the PDF toolbar icons. For easier reading of longer PDF files, one can utilize several tools. The “Pages tool”  opens up a list of thumbnails of each page of the pdf. This list can be scrolled and once a thumbnail is clicked, you’ll be taken to that page. If you need to leave the course in the middle of reading a long PDF file, you can use the “Bookmark” feature , that will save a bookmark of the page you are on. Lastly, each PDF has a “Table of Contents” where one can click a heading and be taken directly to that section within the PDF.
